I first explored a few thumbnails for the overall composition and quickly figured out the general layout I was looking for.

Cam-Man, our hero is a fun, loving young boy who looks up to strong super hero characters. So in his design I wanted to really capture his goofy personality and showcase him for the hero he is.

The virus I wanted to be cartoon-y and fun to keep the overall theme lighthearted and cute. I also wanted this virus to be afraid to show that there is no question that our hero will triumph.
